We are preferred providers for most major health insurances. We are happy to verify your insurance benefits for you and bill your insurance directly. At this time, most insurance companies have limitations on the conditions they cover for acupuncture, most will cover major pain conditions that are affecting your ability to perform regular activities or your work performance, most do not cover fertility. We ask that our insurance patients be familiar with their acupuncture insurance benefits. Please give us a call with your insurance information available if you have any questions.

Total Cost of Treatment

The total cost of your treatment will vary based on the severity, duration and complexity of your condition and overall health. If we accept you as a patient, our typical suggested treatment plan will vary from 2-3 weeks for mild conditions to several months for more chronic and severe conditions. After your medical history and initial treatments, we will be able to determine a treatment plan and ideal schedule for you. We always strive to resolve the underlying root cause of your signs and symptoms and we may recommend a custom long term care and nutrition plan to continuously improve and maintain your health.

  • Group Health/Kaiser PPO plans only

  • PIP (Personal Injury Protection) and Auto Accidents
  • This is not an exhaustive list, we may accept other insurances, please contact us to verify

Please e-mail us a copy of the front and back of your insurance card along with your Date Of Birth and to verify your acupuncture benefits.

We strive to be preferred providers for as many plans as possible, but please note the following exceptions:

  • Apple Health Plans, including Molina: many of these plans do not cover acupuncture; we are not in-network with these carriers
  • Group Health/Kaiser HMO: we are not in-network with HMO plans
  • Medicare and Medical do not cover acupuncture in WA at this time
  • There maybe other health insurance plans we don’t accept, please verify your benefits with us before your visit

As a patient I can tell you that the Swiss Acupuncture approach is different from the traditional acupuncture that I tried before. I came to Swiss Acupuncture seeking relief for my wrist pain. Pain started last year Oct after having a baby and had slowly gotten worse so I decided to try acupuncture in March. I went with the package treatment and by the end the pain has gone down by a lot. Now I no longer feel the pain. Ginger and staff were all nice and helpful.
